Job Opportunity - Wood Machinist in Ruakākā, Northland, NZ
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Wood Machinist to join a Northland timber manufacturer specialising in milling, drying, grading, machining, preservation and engineered wood products.
This permanent full-time role is ideal for someone with timber machining experience who can set up and operate woodworking machinery, read drawings and specifications, maintain quality standards, and work safely in a production environment.
- Location: Ruakākā, Northland, New Zealand
- Industry: timber manufacturer specialising in milling, drying, grading, machining, preservation and engineered wood products.
- Employment Type: permanent full-time role
- Salary Rate: $30 - $35 per hour, depending on skills and experience
- Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, with usual hours ranging from 40 - 50 by agreement
Minimum Requirements & Duties
- Applicants should have relevant timber machining experience or an equivalent qualification, strong attention to detail, and the current right to work in New Zealand or eligibility to obtain a work visa.
